How To Earn Points
Do You Recycle? If So, Then You're Already On Your Way To Earning Points.
Place your recyclables out for collection on your recycling day. The Waste Management recycling truck collects the recyclables. The recyclables are weighed by route, and Think Green Rewards points are determined according to that figure (3 points per pound of recyclables collected.) The points are divided equally among you and your neighbors on your route and deposited into only the online accounts of those households that have signed up for the recycling rewards program. The more residents that sign up and recycle, the more everyone benefits through the recycling rewards program.
When you earn 100 points, you can redeem your reward points by printing coupons from your printer to use at participating retailers, restaurants and services in your local area.
How Do I Redeem Points?
Simply go to 'Redeem Points' and select from a variety of discounts and special offers in your location. Choose from names like Hyatt Hotels, Baskin Robbins, Enterprise and Hertz car rentals, leading retailers and lots of local shops and eateries too. Or you can donate your points, which will turn into dollars, to local and national non-profit organizations.
